EcoPolyTunnelsTM (EPT)  address the particular issues faced by Farmers in the West Indies, specifically maintaining optimum growing conditions and provision of fresh water to produce high quality crop.

EPT address the particular issues faced by Farmers in the West Indies, specifically maintaining optimum growing conditions and provision of fresh water to produce high quality crop.

Simplex has developed the EPT which is instantly deployable and requires no clearance certificates or licences. Increased yield and crop diversity within mutable poly tunnels cooled to approximately 8°C below ambient using our evaporative cooling technique.

The EPT is grouped in clusters of 10 units covering approx. 0.74ac2.  The advantage is a collective for rainwater harvesting of 1500 tons stored in a subterranean tank beneath the EPTC.

The EPT utilises Simplex patented control system, which enables remote monitoring, alerting and control of the systems which run the EPT.

Along with our locally based partners, Simplex will install and maintain your EPTs for the duration of its serviceable life.

Simplex has partnered with The University of the West Indies (UWI) who recognise the significant potential for increased crop production in comparison to current farming techniques used in the West Indies. UWI are currently running academic trails on the EPT and can offer agronomy, mentoring, learned support, training, etc. on best practice to optimize crop yield.
